Hacking 3DS 8.1.0-18 is coming

Just as descripted in the title, 8.x has been released.
It seems that it has done nothing to with ds flashcards.
I have just tested r4i gold 3DS ( www.r4ids.cn) and it works well on 3DS8.1.0-18.

It seems Nintendo, after fixing the MSET loophole, just stopped blocking DS flashcarts, as they no longer can be used as an 3DS mode exploit entry point.

Too soon for a fix like that. Plus, Smea also said on his twitter (in a reply, about 5h ago) that if someone is on 8.0 already, 8.1 won't matter.

well thats good to know assuming " if you're already on 8.0, 8.1 won't make any difference. " defiantly means it will work on both and not....it wont work on either anyway

Game Freak have put out a notice on the PGL just now that responds to the people who have been getting a variety of communication errors in Rating Battle, Free Battle, Online Competitions (Battle of Legends) etc.

They claim that updating to the latest firmware, 8.1.0-18, will resolve these issues.
