Gaming 3DS Library shock

Hey I was just putting games on an SD card and realised the 3DS library is ridiculous.

This is what I have on my 64GB card:

HOLY SHIT the 3DS library is bigger than i thought. any other recommended games? also what are your guys thoughts on where the 3DS will go in the next year or so? nintendo are already doing new pokemon game, smash bros on 3DS too... phoenix wright HD trilogy release...

i honestly thought the difference between vita and 3ds wasn't thaaaat big.

Are you buying games or getting them with a flashcard? If the latter, you can already play AA Trilogy since the jpn version has english language.

Oh and get Steamworld Dig. It has been dumped and it's great game.

Then Vita hasn't that much "weebs" compared to the rest.

What's more strange is that OP plays a bunch of ports on 3DS but then dismiss Vita's lineup, while if you don't mind playing multiplats Vita has a beast of a line up. But I'm not gonna making the case on a Nintendo console-related forum and I don't want to derail the thread as well.

I have a Vita too FYI. I'm not really all that biased. The Vita still has an excellent lineup but I also have a PS3. Ports like of God of War, Borderlands, R&C and Sly are inferior according to reviews whilst for example, the 3DS port of the OOT was really good. Of course the Vita has its good games too... and phenomenal games (persona 4 golden is the reason i bought it).

I have a PS3 + Gaming PC... when I think about Vita, I immediately exclude any PC-indie ports which are cheaper/better on PC (apart from portability).

Wow!! AA trilogy japenese version has an english option? Does it have english voices in-game or Japanese??? I've only played Ace Attourny 1 so I'm not even sure if they have voice acting or not. If anyone could tell me, this would be awesome!

Thats only 3 years worth of content. Compare the same three years to any other system and you'll find that list to be trifling.

Except I don't agree with your list. NDS over 7 years had nearly 6000 roms, In NDS's first 12-18 months it already broke 1000-1500 roms. The 3DS has been out for 3 years and is just nearly breaking 1000. The 3DS in terms of software is doing worse than PS3's early years when the "PS3 has no games" jokes were bountiful.

Well, to be fair, of those 6000 nds roms, probably more than half can be considered shovelware.
2014 is kind of a drought year for the 3ds though. With only Smash and Pokemon to look forward to.

hmm i forget if the voices are english or japanese well, there isn't any talking in the game, right, just sounds?
and yeah, the 'voices' etc, like 'objection', are in english. remember that in the game you can use the microphone to say objection, i doubt people are really going to be saying 異議あり... lol
so yeah, the english option is all in english (as far as i can remember, i never played it maybe there were some extra options etc, but i don't think so)
anyway, it's only a rom download away to test... nothing to worry about unless you have a monthly bandwidth limit

Well, same goes for a lot of the games you have. Rayman, MGS3 and Zero Escape are on Vita too and are better than 3DS' version. I'm not saying anything against the 3DS which is a console I like a lot, I'm just saying it's not a fair comparison.
