Gaming BW2 Memory Link with a single DS after WFC death?

Title says everything, besides getting another save from someone and another DS, is there any way to get Memory Link using a single DS?

That doesn't help with Memory Link, since Memory Link was shut down WAAY before the Wifi death, due to Nintendo ending the dream world service. The only way to get memory link now is to edit your sav file and include it in via hex editor

I kinda forgot that Dream World was shut down when XY was released. :/
So Hex Edit is the only way? There is no way to use some "cheat" magic?

Nope, but look/ask on Project Pokemon. Someone showed an easy way to do it, where to find the data it needs, and where to paste it with a simple hex editor. A guy like me, who is awful at editing hex, was able to insert it into my sav file. I just need to remember how to get the data from the original BW again

i'd recommend just getting someone with 2 DS's to do it for you....

I'm still a bit pissed off that Nintendo ended Black and white 2 services after only one fucking year. Such bullshit.

I do have 2 3DS, but I only have a single flashcard.
