I installed WiiSX but the emulator doesn't detect my WiiMote + Nunchuck. Anyone know of this issue?

Maybe:
- use an old wiimote. (not a wiimote+)
or
- recompile with newer libraries (but you'll have to update the sources to use new file operation functions)
or
- try one of the mods (some of them are maybe recompiled with Wiimote+ support)
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/WiiSX_compatibility_list_(beta_2)

Ive tried all of the mods and none of them worked with my wiimote+
I have no idea how to compile wii homebrew. Maybe someone here has a build of Wiisx that works with wiimote+?
Does WiiSX work with any hid controllers? It would be nice if all emulators had hid support like Nintendont.

WiiSX is old.

Wiimote+ is new
recompiling is not easy because the sources need to be updated to compile with new libraries.

HID is newer (only few homebrew use it)
Only two homebrew use HID (devolution and nintendont)
There are few homebrew which have been recompiled to support PS3 controller (no other controller! only PS3), like Snes9xGX. I don't remember is Wiisx has been recompiled with PS3 support.

Search on the forum for "sickaxis"

Searched and only found unofficial support for the Snes9xGX. Many times people mentioned and asked for a patch for WiiSX, but, they were all ignored. Why is it that the only emulator that actually needs the PlayStation controller, doesn't have support for it?

Probably because it's not easy to add and update old codes to work on newer libraries, and developers are not interested or don't have time to spend on another project they never worked with.
