They can, the cartridge data will just have to be encrypted. I somewhat doubt it uses it too though. Sure, it may come with 7.0 on the card but that's not the same thing. I wonder when the first SDK7 games will appear and people start complaining.

Why would it not working on Gateway prevent it from being dumped?

Zelda and other 5.0 SDK games were dumped before they were playable. So even if it uses the new protection, why would that stop the dump? Not being playable never stopped them being released before.

This game seems really nice, can't wait to play it.
The last original hanheld kirby that I liked was squeak sqad, but unfortunately it was very easy and short,
I completed it 100% so easily it made me even a bit sad.
I hope this game is a bit longer than that, It would be good if it was also a bit harder but I think this may be way too optimistic.

The Kirby Jap release works fine on 2.0b1 (w/o emunand).

Can't wait for the legit version to come out though.

game is on SDK 5.x.x apparently.

im going to assume theres no ingame settings to view it in english and that the rom isnt multi 5 and thats why its not gonna be released in us for 2 more months

I'll do the same, if the game is really worth playing, then it is worth buying imho, that's why i didn't buy gateway or any flashcard yet.
Also, these first flashcards are very "raw", I think we'll have a better solution with time, maybe even a CFW.
