The first time I did this where it was choosing the best console people had concerns about the outliers. Why bother with the obscure ones? No one will ever vote for them.

I think it will become much more interesting when we get further along and we reach generations where people know all/most of the players. People might be interested to see how the Tapwave Zodiac compares to the Gizmodo, or how the OUYA compares to the GameStick. Personally I'd like to see what happens between the 3DO and the CDi in gen 4.
The 3DO is the unquestionable winner in that kind of a bout in my opinion, mostly because it was an actually good system, it's the licensing program and the pricetags that killed it. The CDi was... a mistake. It's barely even a console, it's practically a media player more than anything. Then again, so is the 3DO, technically... But... I guess we'll see. :rofl2:

the Lynx was a huge overpriced piece of shit

The Lynx was ahead of it's time. Scaling objects wouldn't be seen in a console for at least a year (Super Famicom), and handheld would take 11 years with the release of the Wonderswan Color. The Game Boy Advance was a year later. Name a system (outside of 16 bit computers at 5x-10x the cost), that could deliver Hard Drivin':

If your talking game library. It had a small library, but the overall quality was higher than average.

The Gameboy is able to do similar things to an extent ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X_(1992_video_game) ), but yeah, it would be difficult to think of other games using the same rendering method.
