It seems Mt-card is alive after all. Gateway better hurry up and release 2.0 because it looks like Mt-card finally caught up.

The question is, is this a copy of 2.0b2, and if it is, does it have all the brick checks removed?

Wait, region free carts? Woot!

Wow I'm impressed. So far this seems to support everything GW 2.0 final promises except for NAND game support and Rom dumping. Looks like MT-card was a good choice after all.

I'm gonna go test this with my 3ds. Finally can play my japanese 3ds games that were gathering dust :D

inb4MT-CardBricks, those features are suspiciously similar to those offered by Gateway.

...not that I wish any bricks upon anyone, this could be based off 2.0B1 after all... ;)

Maybe I shouldn't have said anything - I may have jinxed it now. :ninja:

Lmao they put 3DSGuy's rom tool in the rar packet and didnt give him credit. Kinda fucked up
Oh my, pirates not giving credit where credit's due, now that's a newsflash right there! :tpi:

They might as well give credit to Gateway while they're at it, but they won't because that'd just be silly. ;)

Lets see if they changed emunand from GW3D version, yep I see MT3D instead, they managed to do what no other clone maker could do
Other thing to check for is saving issues that were presnt in b1

At the very least this shows that the MT-Card's ASIC can be updated via USB, or so it seems, which makes it the most reasonable Gateway alternative out there.

:| well, that's a surprise. I honestly thought it was a dead card

Naa it kinda is.

Instead of "GW3D" it's "MT3D"
Instead of "EmuNand" it's "Nand-emulate"
Instead of "Bricks" you'll get "Stones"

The only thing different is the Gui. Combined with the fact they just put 3DSguy's rom tool in without citing him, it's nothing we havent seen before. They just "caught up" if you will.

Umm, i'm not sure if this is already known, but my Gateway emunand is recognized by the MT-card. It even says i'm on MT3D firmware even though I created that Emunand using Gateway.

You say "Gateway better hurry up..",what have they done precisely?, I dont see Multirom or anything about supporting 64GB cards or anything special apart from what GW 2.0b2 already does, unless I am missing something? and I'm 100% sure the next GW update will run Pokemon X/Y.

What I meant was he says Gateway should hurry up "Mt-card finally caught up", what for?, but was has MT done that is good that GW doesn't already do in 2.0b2?

That's because those letters are just lazily patched over in RAM - for all intents and purposes, that string could say anything you want it to. ;)

Precisely why not everyone's excited. On top of that, we don't know if this firmware is affected by Gateway's bricking code, and considering the features included, there's a considerable risk that it might. I'd personally wait for this to be tested by someone with a NAND flasher before proceeding to use it. Not that I want to fearmonger or anything, but it never hurts to be cautious.

Looks nice for MT-Card. If it's not bricking then it's the best 3ds flashcard in the market at the moment. Gateway team better release 2.0 soon if not MT-Card is going to be more popular.

You tell me for what reason? I must be missing something?

Well if this doesn't turn out to brick your 3ds, this launcher could just be used to play games from other regions, which is what I'm using it for right now. I'll be using it heavily so if it bricks my 3ds, I'll let everyone know :)
