free market n stuff. usually someone should sweep in and undercut him.

and the nice thing is: in accordance to EU regulations one wouldn't only have the 1 month guarantee he offers, but 6 months warranty as well as he offers said service not at his own cost but at a premium and thus has to be classified as professional buissness (thus resulting in an B2C relationship). sometimes EU law is fun.

yeah if i ever need to get a raspberry pi for any reason i wouldn't mind doing it for like £10 + return postage (maybe 15 if they wanted a usb port put in aswell )....don't really feel like i need a raspberry pi atm though

i would donate a cut of any profits to the devs as well but i guess some people see $ signs though XD

unless i find they used a edited launcher then there will be a £1000 return fee....lol jkn

Ok I should have a raspberry pi in a few days so should be able to offer an Unbricking service in the uk, tbh I don't think there will be too many anyway the bricking seems to of been greatly exaggerated

Pricing will probs be like £10 for the time....little bit extra if you want a USB port or anything put in for future nand restores etc

Bad business man if you're trying to make a business and career out of it, sure.

If you're just trying to do it to pocket a bit of beer money, what it sounds like to me (and how I would charge if I had experience in soldering a NAND reader for a 3DS), then that's pretty good.

The price is different due to the 20% VAT to be added.

For a French member, the total with shipping cost is about 30€ including tax.

UPDATE of 26.02.14 : It is now possible to unbrick any 3DS/3DS XL consoles WITH or WITHOUT backup of the NAND !!!

Through the work of bkifft, NAND console can be extracted even if the console is already bricked.

its honest people like you who really help people. I may just get usb put in just for sake of it. I got a PI at home just arrived yesterday but i rahter future proof my 3ds xl's

well i ended up getting a raspberry pi but only so i could offer the service to people who where bricked, so after adding up costs etc the price crept up a lil bit as i didnt have the spare parts lying around , but not much its now 15 for unbrick and 20 for usb port installed.

i knew i wouldn't get many orders so just want to make sure i cover the costs of the raspberry pi and parts, plus it takes quite a bit longer to make them look super nice

sweet so would that include the for £20 the microsd and usb in the corner for 3dsxl i also have a normal 3ds too so may want to get two done

yeah usb port and the adapter to go with it, i also include a pinout so if ever you loose the adaptor or break it or anything really, you could get another one done without having to open the case to find out which wire goes where, i use the mini usb for original 3ds and micro for XL mini usb is studier so that's why i use it for the original,but the XL has the hole ready for the micro so mays well just use the micro for XL
