Doesn't look like it, actually. Where are you getting that from?

He may be implying that. There's a summary of this file posted on some site, but I'm not sure which version of rom_tool was used to get it so it's still unsure if the info is accurate:

OK. I checked it on the 3.1 version of ROM Tool and unless the program is wrong, it doesn't use the so called "NAND save":

You are correct kyogre123, No NAND save, Card type is CARD1, its the SDK 5.x that causes the incompatibility aswell as the Save Crypto: 6.0.0-11 KeyY Method

I am buying Zelda Friday regardless, but having the rom is such a tease. I can at least get a first person glimpse of the title screen in action via Gateway. heh.

Why not buy it and get the ROM too? or even better, you can dump your cartridge and share the file since there's no U ROM yet

I was Under the impression that the 3dslink (possibly the gateway as well) supported the new 6.X 3ds Firmware via its blue cart and when the 2.0 firm for the carts comes out the red one will work as well on 6.x am i wrong?

Completely wrong.

Don't expect any updates to the firmware of GW's Blue cart. Since it appears to be impossible to use DS mode while having the hack activated, or better said, it's impossible to maintain the hack activated after booting a DS game, due to this there's no reason for higher firmware support for the DS cart (referring to its use on EmuNAND).

I guess 3DS Link's DS cart supports the 6.3 OFW, since their 3DS cart is the same as the R4i's cart (just with different brands), I don't see why they wouldn't sell the "original" R4i cart as well with it.

Won't go any further. Seems to skip the update just fine.
Right after hitting A.
I knew the game was not going to work just wanted to know what happens when I game is incompatible

Guys, can you give me a little more info on the NAND backup feature that'll be coming with Gateway 2.0? I know it'll enable the eShop and all that, but would it also enable online and wifi functionality without the Gateway? For example, if playing AC:NL online updated the firmware to 6.2 with a retail cartridge, couldn't I just roll back the firmware with a Gateway right after? Or is that not how it works?

We don't know what it'll do. You've have to wait.

Nintendo should have 9999 anti-emunand measures this far.
Everybody bragging about it and nobody released anything.
>.< .l.

i am also buying it on friday along with the system but it is nice to have a rom of it even if my gateway cant play it yet

Have some questions based on emunand. Obviously it's not available to us, but some of you seem to understand how it will work.

1. Will it allow region spoofing on the eshop? i.e. I can connect and potentially find a Jap only release and download/buy it.

2. Does it save stuff from the eshop (not talking about region spoofing here) to the SD card, or the 3ds itself?

Thanks for any info. (if there is info about this!)
