Hi there,

Has anyone purchased from dscardonline.com before? It is an Australian store and I was hoping if this store is legit. It accepts paypal [ which is a must for me ], I also see it sells the Gateway, although it is not listed in the Gateway's site reseller list. I had previously purchase a Gateway from a store located in Hong Kong but that has never arrive and I would like to purchase from an Australian site instead. Thanks.

Personally, based on my own experiences, I'd say stick with an officiated reseller. And for your Hong Kong shipped Gateway how long did you wait again? :P

Bought from nds-card.com

Preordered - 17 Aug
"Shipped" - 27 Aug
Given to HK mail - 7 Sept
Left HK for Australia - 14 Sept

Last time the mail was tracked was on the 14 September via the http://app3.hongkongpost.hk/CGI/mt/enquiry.jsp - Australian mail tracker site does not track the mail http://auspost.com.au/track/

The only way to track the mail is to contact the Australian Post staff - which I did and even they cant track the mail. They said the latest date they could track was on the 6 September [ 7 September? ].

Give it a bit more time (shipping is notoriously slow right now with HKP, and tracking is a bit iffy at the moment) and in the meantime do some more research with sellers in your area.

The last date of it tracking on the 14 September reads:
The item (RC**********HK) left Hong Kong for its destination on 14-Sep-2013

I doubt it is still in Hong Kong though, but also it never reach Australia I assume.

Hong Kong post tracking is rarely reliable, but I will say that it still is definitely moving. The day that you stop thinking about it is most likely the day it arrives. :P Seriously! I had a unit sent from NDS card a week ago, and it hasn't even shown up on their website yet. :P

I hope you are right, all I know that Chinapost is slow - takes up to 4 to 6 weeks for delivery when I ordered from dealextreme.

But then again about a year and a half ago I ordered some S-Video cable from ebay from a seller from Hong Kong and to this date I have not received that S-video cable. The S-video cable only cost me $1.00 so I didnt bother chasing that ebay seller.

Keep in mind it's also almost the holidays, and the post is freakishly slow around this time of the year. Actually, any month could be a bad month for HK Post. ._.

I have bought from them 3 times, 1st time came very quick, 2nd time had to keep txt him because of slow delivery 3rd time payed for item took him 7 days to sms me to say he got payment but after 6 weeks am still waiting for card. Have sms supplier but no respnse untill I asked if they were still in bussiness and the then replied yes we are and promised to supply tracking no which has not arrived
Have left many messages SMS ect since with no answer. Last message I left was that I will contact office of fair trading to recover my direct deposit
If you pay with credit card you have some protection in getting money back
The first 2 orders I received were sent from Sydney, Not sure how this supplier works but wondering if Dodgy
Regards Peter
