Hi all,

I recently bought Disney Infinity and I am trying to back it up to an external HDD.

I have backed up the rest of my collection which includes most Mario games ( Galaxy 1&2, NSMB, Mario Party 8 &9, Mario & Sonic games), Zelda Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword, Goldeneye 007, Smash Bros, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 1&2 and Tatsunoko Vs Capcom. All of those games were backed up successfully using my preferred usb loader: USB Loader GX.

Disney Infinity reads as 7.22GB but when I try to back it up, it always freezes at approx 10%, 45% or 54%. I have attempted this process about 12 times with the same result. I have also tried the same process using CleanRip, WiiFlow and CFG USBLoader with the same results.

The disc is brand new and has only been inserted and ejected from the Wii drive only a couple of times, so there a no scratches so I know the disc isn't a problem.

I am running a black wii with 4.3e.

Someone should correct me if I'm wrong; my knowledge on Wii modding is a bit outdated since I stopped participating in the scene.

I've always found the most reliable method for dumping to be to dump a 1:1 image to an ISO file on a SD card or USB drive (or over the network to a computer). Have you tried using such an app?

Never tried it as my Wii is not connected to my home network, and never had any trouble backing up any disc locally before this.
