Megaman X8 for PC is sweet. You could also probably emulate everything prior to the 6th gen of gaming, so you're set there.

Thanks for the suggestions, intel hd4k really isnt that bad of a chip if it can produce 20fps on medium settings I'm still happy.
Really? That's quite a low-bar! I'd suggest some games, but I don't go much for the action stuff... :/ But if it's addicting you want, maybe check out some of the roguelike games, like FTL or Dungeons of Dredmore?

Really fucking awesome. Tons of low-spec free games.

Rules of Thumb:

Any Source game. Really smooth and well optimized engine. Not ALL will run smooth, but they will start up and at least be playable.

Any PC title form before 2007, seriously, they ALL run great on Intel 4000. But check the specs if your buying.

Some of my personal favorites.

Halo CE & 2, ran great on my schools Pentiums.

Noitu Love 1 and 2. On that list above, but I love it so much i'll put it here too.

Cataclysm DDA. Rouge-like, my main in fact. Me and some buddies set up an SSH and play a dedicated world together.

Dwarf Fortress. Great if you have the patience to learn it. If not, Adventure mode rampages are always fun!

Blockland. Fun little sandbox, I dont know how good it runs with shaders on Intel 4000 though.

I'll add to this post as I remember.

Droid Assault, DEFCON and Bastion are fun and good games that hardly require a decent graphics chip.

EDIT: Also forgot to mention Tyrian

dude intel hd 4000 is definitely better than this.

my friend was playing batman arkham asylum on medium or something at awesome fps without stuttering and HIS was intel hd 3000 series.

try any game other than of 2013 ie. Far cry 3 or AC3 (ubi is overdoing it)

Much shorter to list the games you can't run or might have trouble running.

Maybe next year the list will get longer but either way your ok for now, I think you can run everything out depending on how low you go on the settings.

My friend has pretty much the exact same set up on his laptop, and all the games he's tried even up to being released this year have run fine, some on high settings looking beautiful, others on a nice looking medium that is easy to look at. People try to sell the onboard graphics chips short, but they have really come a long way the past five or six years. It's pretty easy to pick up a $700 laptop that can do some good gaming these days.

Intel HD4000 is the equivalent of a GT610. Not designed for gaming. It'll handle higher-end emulators (Dolphin, etc.) at SD resolutions, but not modern PC games. You might be able to run older Source engine games though.

It not designed for gaming but, it can do the job well (very well by the way). You can also play recent games, most on low/medium settings and even max settings if the game is well optimised. Search on Youtube "Intel HD 4000" and you will see (mine is 2000).

Integrated graphics maxing out recent PC games? Okay, show me Intel HD 4000 maxing out any AAA game made after 2010.
