Bombadildo, thank you very much, and that was sarcasm. Quite frankly I believe any thread about 3DS flashcards that may come up should be closed and disallowed, with one thread maintained by a moderator/whomever to update information.

As for the Gateway 3DS, they will have to do a good job if they want to sell their product, I have no rush at all, all I'm waiting for is the real (retail) Pokémon games, when a 3DS flashcart can do what the DSTWO does but with Nintendo 3DS games then I will gladly get one and only then I will care enough about it, I do hope it won't take forever as there are so many nice games and I doubt anyone could own them all righteously!...

I'm trying to see the wisdom in hyping a 3DS flashcart that only plays 3DS ROMs, just a few months before the latest gen Pokemon games get released, and prior to a 3DS system menu update that'll add Miiverse compatibility.

The way I see it, even if this latest update hadn't happened, Gateway would still have been blocked at least twice before Christmas.

Gateway have shown very poor judgement by going public far too early, in my opinion.

A more common sense approach would have been to stay on the down low with a small pool of testers, adding save game backup and/or multiple ROM save functionality (if possible).

They also should have made sure they could get around a couple of system menu updates before launch.

Once they had overcome those obstacles, they could hit the spotlight, make a big splash and rake in huge bank just before Christmas.

i think thats why neimod and company did not want to release the save exploit. they are probably still looking for ways to have the hack endure updates from nintendo

Why hit the pirates with the cost. Even at 80$ thats not enought to make em all stop.
Ooth if you hit just before shipping the manufacturer will be sitting on an expensive pile of unsellable goods.

That's assuming most potential buyers are people who frequent boards like this. I have no idea of the numbers, but from the 1st posters and whatnot here, it's easy to tell there's a lot of people who won't find out the Gateway was blocked until it's too late.

Or Gateway will say something like "Oh, don't worry, we'll have it unblocked soon! Go ahead and buy it!"

No, it was confirmed working on 5.x.x Anyway, if the gateway card isn able to work on 6.x.x, you cant play newer games like pokemom zelda etc... Though, we have to wait what the gateway team says

I'm loosing my faith on this.

God damn it, my 3DS is on the desk OFF for almost a year already .


But still I'm not happy with just playing games, I wanted is the whole system shut off and completely ripped off and see something like a modded XBMC as the main system .


ps: Everyone is just not even trying to crack the system, but instead they are all trying to make a HUGE AMOUNT OF PROFIT with those 3DS crap cards that barely do nothing . (Oh well, that's just my thoughts before somene want to kick me in the butt ).
