Yeah r4-sdhc is crappy like that, but everybody buys them because it's a few bucks cheaper... for a single unit.

The R4i Gold from r4ids.cn does it's best to provide updates, but the only cart that has never needed a hardware update is the DSTwo.

fully agree Rydian. If you like r4 card,then r4i gold rts 3ds from r4ids.cn is your best choice, otherwise,choose dstwo,after all,dstwo is the best card at present.

Thanks guys keep posting but im thinking of getting the DSTWO since I can get it for $40 sadly I wish I looked more into it sooner (r4i-sdhc now has my $60 from the past 3 but anyways)

DSTWO is probably the best cart at the moment. Good investment.

I'd say that unless you're gonna use the extra features, you might want to consider saving some money and getting a cheaper card (compared to the DSTwo). But if you do end up going with the DSTwo, you'll be worry-free regarding updates and game compatibility.
