Hacking Gamecube to Classic Controller Converter 2 questions

Just out of curiosity, will your adapters support analog L and R or just digital? Would analog even be possible if you're mapping everything to a Classic Controller?
Yes, my adapter already supports the analog triggers. The original Classic Controller has analog triggers, the CCPro does not, but even still, the report packet still has a data field for the analog controls.

Would there be any reason or benefit to reverse engineering one of these guys? I just ordered two on eBay as I've been looking for this controller since the Wii U came out. It's a Radio Shack brand (Gigaware) wireless Gamecube controller, but the receiver can plug in to the Wii Remote, thus allowing the same controller to be used as a Classic Controller. http://www.ebay.com/itm/310650247271?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Do you know if this controller is any good? ...I bought a chinese fake GC controller last year, but that was the most crappy controller I ever had.. ..so I want a new one.
There are some not original nintendo ones that you would recommend me? (can be wireless or not)
...I didn't find a original one in a good enough price for me, and I don't want the same bad chinese controller again...

I bought two off eBay when it showed up yesterday; I had a saved search for 'Gigaware Gamecube.' I'll let you know once I receive it if it's good or not, but I like the look of it and am hoping for the best.

Well I don't own said adapter, and I'm perfectly happy with the Classic controller pro (which is the same price new as said adapter).

Just a quick follow-up - received my two Gigaware controllers this weekend and until an actual GC to CC adapter is released, these are the perfect compromise. The controller feels light so I do not believe there is rumble, but the shoulder triggers are analog and a quick run-through on Mario Kart 64 felt great. Highly recommend this controller if you can track it down.

I meant the adapter in this thread that qwertymodo is working on; I'd rather purchase an adapter from the scene then one that I assume takes the work of the scene and flips it for profit. Plus the Gigaware is a nice controller.

That's why I said 'I assume.' I know you're in here doing a big push for the Mayflash adapter but I personally would prefer qwertymodo's.

Respectfully, I didn't write it off; I just said I preferred the scene developed option and made an 'assumption' regarding their adapter, which I tried to make clear was my assumption alone. I was looking for the Gigaware controllers long before adapters were even a point of discussion; I simply stated the Gigaware controller is a great option and it's much cheaper than ordering the Mayflash adapter from PlayAsia. I bought two Gigaware controllers for less than the cost of one adapter shipped from Play-Asia. I only made reference to you doing a big push because most (if not all) of the comments you have made in this thread are in support of the Mayflash adapter. I meant no disrespect.

Well when I first mentioned it people questioned Mayflash's quality and reliability. As I personally own two Mayflash adapters (PSX->USB and WiiCC/Pro->USB) I have experience with them and felt that I should dispel such worries.

Nice! At the time of posting it wasn't on Amazon considering Amazon is where I checked first.

I do wonder if it works with the Wavebird...
