Hacking Help! DSTTi card, version 1.4.3U DSi

Hi,

I've been out of the DS flash card loop for a long time, and I came back to find that my DSi has been upgraded to a 1.4.3U version and my DSTTi card no longer works on it.

I've tried looking around on the internet for the solution on how to fix this, but most posts talk about updating the firmware/kernel, which I used to think I know how to do, but apparently I'm doing something wrong or the other. Either that or the posts are from 2/3 years ago and some of the links don't work anymore.

I looked at the FAQ thread on this forum, but it's a jumble of HTML code right now and I'm not sure how to fix that???

Have you tried flashing it in a normal ds or a lite?

I've never done that before. How do you do that?

I would think you would put the update file on the root of the memory card (for instance E: ) not in any folder and boot the card up in a original or lite DS and it should do it as far as I am aware

Though to be honest it wont get updated any more after this due to firmware changes with the 3DS and I think the DSi also so you may want to consider a DSTwo flash card

Me personally Since I have only a DSLite I use a DSTT but if you want continued support you may have to upgrade the whole card

I put the latest file from http://www.dstti.cc/download.htm into my card, loaded it into an old DS, and it still doesn't work on my DSi.
