Hacking Trying to buy a flash Card

Hello i want to buy a R4I 3ds Gold RTS, does anyone one know a good online store located in United States or Canada that are reliable. Also how do you know if the flash card are genuine.

my 3ds xl firmware is at 5.1 would i need a ds to update the r4i flash card?

You can't really tell until it gets to you, but most often carts don't exactly fake each other anymore (outside of things like the Ak2i), you just need to make sure you're buying the right one, and not one of the many "R4i Gold" carts elsewhere. The key to look at is the URL on the cart/box. www.r4ids.cn is the R4i Gold with RTS and Wood support.

That's where I got my DSTWO, no complaints, and I doubt they'd try to slip you a bogus card.

They also have a Hong Kong based store, but this is their US based one, so shipping is good and fast.

RTS was added to Wood itself, even if the sticker/box doesn't say RTS, it can use it. It was just a label change, and it happened recently so many sites haven't updated their pictures.

Just make sure the r4i gold 3ds rts card is from r4ds.cn and the site has pre flashed for you, check here, should be this one: http://www.dsflashcart.com/r4i-gold-3ds-wood-r4i-3ds-flashcard-for-ds-dsi-3ds-p-248.html so you don't need to update it by yourself when you receive it.

RHS does update the carts before sending them out. The 3DS 4.5.x update works on 5.x as well, 5.x hasn't blocked it just yet.

If you can run the cart, you can update the cart.

last questions whats the build quality of the r4i 3ds gold?

Doesn't seem to have any major contact issues or anything. The models I've seen/had do have a slight sticking problem in some DS models, but it's nothing that affects use.
