Hacking Wii Bricked, please help

I apologize if this is in the wrong section, but I have tried everything. My Wii gets the system files are corrupt error. I followed a guide which had me reinstall the system menus as well as priiloader, however I still get the corruption error. I am able to boot in maintenance mode and load channels and games. From what I've read it sounds like a possible mail brick. Does anyone have a solution for this, or know of any good links to try and fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

• The only way to know if its a mail brick is to access Maintenance mode. As this disables the message board, a mail bricked wii will boot now.
• The first thing you want to do is to uninstall preloader if you have it (since it bricks the Wii if you format). You can do this by downloading your system menu wad with NUS Downloader and installing it or by installing Priiloader (which doesn't have this problem).
• If you got rid of preloader, boot the wii into maintenance mode, go to the wii settings and format the wii (make backups of your save files first!)

I am able to get into maintenance mode without any errors. I have priiloader installed. I guess I'll start backing up and try formatting to see if that works.

Make NAND dump and check it against errors.
I don't remember name of that tool now.

I copied the NAND using bootmii, I'll search to see if I can find the tool you're talking about.

I've backed up everything and am trying to format the memory and it has been sitting at "Formatting system memory" for about an hour now. I don't think it should take this long.

Post an syscheck report, maybe you have an stubbed IOS which is bothering the system.

Nope, a stubbed system menu means an empty system menu ios slot, if that would be the case the Wii would not even be able to get to priiloader or maintanance mode.
There's nothing else running besides the system menu, what you implying is not possible.

This is most probably the messageboard crash, wich can happen if you have a lot of messages stored. A format should fix it.

You system emnu should not be running on ios 58.
Get into priiloader and set it to default.

This is most probably the messageboard crash, wich can happen if you have a lot of messages stored. A format should fix it.

Unfortunately the system format hung. I left it for an hour and even after powering it off and back on everything was as I left it. Is there a homebrew utility that could wipe out all the messages?

First, that ''the system files are corrupted'' message appears more often, second you may or may not access the wii settings.

Seems to me there's a lot more going on.

If that is the case you could use ohneswanzenegger to build a clean nand.
