Hardware Faint Buzzing noise? Normal?

My wii u is making a Very faint, and I mean very faint buzzing noise coming from what sounds like the three vents on the bottom if its horizontal or the left side when vertical. Please put your ear up to yours and tell me if yours does this? Also it is without a disc in. I made a video describing the issue. Turn the volume up and listen closely. Any Ideas as to what this might be?? Listened to my friends wii u his makes it too. Heres the video:

to be honest, it sounds like the disc-drive is trying to read a disc. now i know you took the disc out, but that is EXACTLY what it sounds like...

only other thing that i can think of is maybe the fan is brushing up against something?

you try laying it on it's side?

Yes tried vertical and horizontal. Have you tried listening to yours? The reason I ask is because it is easier to tell if you actually hear it. Not on a video.

oh, i could hear it just fine with the volume all of the way up on my computer. mine DEFINITELY DOES NOT make that noise. it sounds like it thinks a disc is in the slot and keeps trying to load it, even though there is not one in the slot.

Well, to me what it sounds more like is the fan noise somehow acoustically making its way through the console. Just listened to it with the disc in and I can still hear it so the disc drive is ruled out. If you actually listen to yours it probably is making the noise. The only way I can hear it on mine is if I put my ear right next to the three vents. Otherwise I cant hear it. I have 3 friends who also have wii us and theirs make the noise too. Just trying to figure out what might be causing it.

i have, man... tv off and everything... mine does not make any noise like that whatsoever, not in the vWii mode or wii u mode... i am out of ideas outside of the fan rubbing up against a wire or something, like i stated previously... good luck to you. i hope someone comes along and can help you out.

the noise from the video is very blatant and distinct and mine does not do that...
