A demo for Ubisoft's Survival Horror Wii U exclusive is now available to download from the E.U eShop.
There's no word on when the demo will come to the North American eShop at this time.

Source: http://nintendoeverything.com/109980/zombiu-demo-lands-on-the-european-eshop/

- i'm currently in the process of downloading the demo myself.

Please discuss your view on the demo below, particularly those of you who've played the full release so we can get an idea of how it compares.

Why? Why Nintendo .... Why?

That's lame as fuck. Thanks for the info Eighteen.

Because by the time you reach the play limit, you'll have gotten enough gameplay to make a decision on if the game is worth buying. Yes, it sad that we can't replay the demos unlimited times, but really, replaying the same short demo over and over tends to get boring.

Valid point, but its still a BS excuse. Oh well guess with the limit on plays you'll end up recouping the drive space. No sense in keeping some thing you can't play.

I thought download limits were imposed by the developers themselves. The Zombi U Demo has a limit of 30 Plays

Took me about 40mins to download and about 2 minutes to install.

i click on those games and there is never even an option to download a demo... i checked for two hours one night and no luck... i looked through everything... oh well... i don't need the demos, it would be nice to have some choice though like everyone else around the globe seems to be getting... even a demos section, even if there are no demos in it, lol...

T_T I hate those time restrictions, here in the NETHERLANDS, you need to be at least 16 to buy 18+ games and stuff. I don't even know why Nintendo did fuck us so much up. Since I do not intend to stay up late near an exam week.

Yeah I know blah blah German law, Nintendo Europe is bassed in Großesheim or something like that.

But why the heck fuck us dutchies and the rest of Europe as well? >_> Yeah right; OH MY GAWD WIR wöllen das nicht![We don't want that] Because then German people will use other countries instead of Germany since we screwed our law.

[/rant]

But my love for Germany wasn't huge already, this made me even hate them more then I already did... ;3

Because the server stuff is apparently in Germany and it seems they must abide by their laws even for foreigners accessing the data... Still annoying, I know.

wow, Germany is still finding ways to **** over the rest of Europe... I thought you guys won that "war" almost 70 years ago, lol...

This made me

I still think it is no excuse screwing us, cos the servers are Germany based, I think Nintendo Benelux should adopt some servers too!

NoA said that they're currently working on it, it's not their fault it's just how laws work, same reason why we can have commercials on children's networks even though it's illigal here in Sweden, TV companies broadcast from the UK to get around it. Laws are broken, that's just how it is.

About the limit thing, developers are the ones choosing the limit, not Nintendo, there has been 3DS demos with unlimited uses before.

Nintendo did release a statement a few weeks back saying they were looking into fixing the time restriction issue for some downloadable games in Europe and whilst I'm glad this is being looked at, i'm still disappointed that this was even an issue in the first place.
