I would really like to be able to access local HTML files through the browser.

Is there any way to point the browser to a file on the SD card?

I want to save some webpages, strategy guides and such, and be able to access them in the browser without having to connect to the internet.

camurso_, have you ever used the 3DS browser? There is no menu file --> save as.

3DS is pretty limited with it's web browser. You can't even save most images from websites. Only jpegs that fit in a limited range of length x width.
There isn't a way to view saved html pages, sadly.
