Gaming My 3DS XL won't work!!

I think i broke my 3DS XL...
I turned it on and wanted to play some games so i was going to the icon of the game but the 3DS screen freeze and i could hear the sound.
I thought it was harmless so i pressed the Turn off button and that it turns off but after that i tried to turn it on but i got a black screen.
The 3DS light goes on and its blue but the screen is just black.
Someone please help!

Uh oh...it might be bricked. Did you try turning it on without a game inside?

I fixed the problem with the dudes from chatbox ^^
Ill just type what i did so if someone has a problem like that then do this:

1.Take the game card out of the 3DS
2.Turn the 3DS OFF and then again ON but hold the Power button for around 10 seconds while booting the system.

I didn't panic at first but when the system didn't want to boot itself then i did start to panic xD

I tried the hold the power button for ten seconds to turn on my system, but still nothing is happening, what is suppose to happen, help please
