Guild McCommunist Appreciation Thread

I'll be perfectly honest, when I first joined the ranks of GBATemp users, I was not particularily fond of Guild. Yep, that's right - I thought he was pretentious, agressive, slightly annoying and very picky just about everything. I simply didn't like his posts or his attitude.

As time passed by, the scales gradually fell from my eyes - I saw the truth, the method behind Guild's madness, the everlasting truths this member has to pass on to others... I've noticed that we were not so different at all, in fact, we often shared the same opinion.

This thread is not so much for Guild, but for "Being (like) Guild" - it's for all those people who won't put up with things that are innately stupid... Unite. Be Guild with us, change the world, let's laugh together! Now, I don't normally use Twitter - I literally follow just two things, a coder I used to help out and... this. I don't have much to say about it except... Thank you. Sincerely.

I agree to you in some extent...he does post interesting news and game of the month etc....So there is some good effort on his behalf.
The thing I cannot stand about him ( and it never changed trough the years ) is that whenever there is some good news about Nintendo, he tries to minimize it and make it sound totally irrelevant or gimmicky or useless....
Rarely, if ever, I've red about him praising Nintendo for whatever reason.
When Sony does something potentially good and (sometimes even ripping off on some Nintendo ideas,like Move ) then they are really good.
Sorry I couldn't put in better words , but he looks like a Sony fanboy to me.

Other then that, he's alright.

PC Master Race Represent fits his description much better, at least as far as I know. Nintendo has to deserve praise before it gets any.

I interacted with Guild by actually PM'ing and asking if I should post certain news articles or about formatting them so as not to cause trouble.
Reading his posts almost always give me information, then make me laugh my ass off. And though he may be a tad opinionated at times, he doesnt let it get into any of his serious posts. He keeps it here or hes sarcastic about it but not in the news post itself.
Hes also one of the few reviewers i can read news for that dont utterly confuse me and i have to like to make it look like i know what theyre talking about. (Even though i vaugely understand sometimes FAST...)
