but yes im currently using google sites, which is nice, but what are the alternatives?
im looking at weebly is that better? or should i stick with sites?

you could use some free hosting : eg : https://www.freehosting.com/ and use a free sub.domain to link it : http://freedns.afraid.org/domain/registry/

then install yourself a simple CMS , say drupal or joomla or wordpress , theme it and there ya go .. better than that god awful green you have there..

or pay a small price for a domain name and a simple web package .. still peanuts a year.
