well i have a ds lite still b its still anoying when they block it ,it is ridiculous for the small number of people who are using flashcards on a 3ds

Both Sony and Nintendo's recent firmware updates are just stupid since all they do is block flashcards and VHBL or something instead of improving the system. Block all they want but atleast put some bloody effort into it and improve the system in a small way each update instead of just blocking and blocking.

Good thing I don't usually hook my 3ds to WiFi unless I need to play multi-player, but the looks of how these updates are going it seems like it we'll never get the 3ds hacked. *looking for a used DSi XL now LOL*

1.Ewwwww
2.Something bad is gonna happen......

Ohh and acekard users are gonna cry xD.
Well.....1-2 months of firmware ugrade for them LOL

i wish there was a flashcard maker out there that would release a fashcard DS/DSi mode compatible. that didn't support piracy/retail roms. so nintendo didn't have to worry about piracy & blocking out cards every update. >.>

Exactly what you're looking for.
Actually, an attempt like that was made, and it was called the iPlayer. Its built was similar to that of the DSTwo, its aim was to bring quality homebrew and multimedia applications to the DS. Got blocked, died due to lack of interest.

I'm a former AK2i user. I recently got DSTwo. I'm loving all that it can do. I mostly got it bcuz of the slow updates with my old AK2i. This being my first time going thru a 3DS update with my new DSTwo. I'm really curious to see how long it takes for the update to come out.

its normally under 24 hours
i believe the last update was 8 hours
guess its all dependent when the team to go sleep and when they wake up to when the patch is live

no flashcards confirmed working on the new firmware yet tho

My story:
  • Just finds out about update on GBAtemp
  • Checkes Nintendo 3DS. It's outdated
  • Checks Supercard Dstwo website, no new updates :(
  • Wonders if the SuperCard Team are not seized by the FBI.
Hates Nintendo! Loves Sony and Microsoft!

wut?

It's just because of the fact that the Download Page didn't update

the updates only been out a few hours
if it had been out a few days then there would be panic

It's just because the last updates came out so quickly. That's why I love the Supercard Team.
They can create an update so quickly, you won't believe that your flashcard ALREADY works.
I just believed they'd of released an update hours or minutes after release. Someone who works
in the SuperCard team please tell me how this works!

they are quick
lol its not minutes tho
well there firmware updates (if going by there server)
go up normally in the next 1-2 hours (this is time from now)
it could be a firmware update but may just be a EOS kernel update
all dependent on what the update blocks game header wise

Does anyone have a YouTube video or something of a documentary that can explain how cracking Software, OS's and Hardware works?

yea because all of that is highly legal and doesn't break any laws at all

Lol at your sarcasm. Once in a newspaper they had poorly explained how software cracking worked until a hacker from THG (i think) explained how it all worked and later died. RIP! I just wanna know how the Supercard Team does their stuff. Aw well. All the stuff that the people at the Supercard Team do is probably better off done anonymously and in complete privacy.
