I heard that is a fake R4 clone so I might go for Acekard because I heard from Kyohack that Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 freeze on R4I Gold 3DS. Onto next question, where can I get a good quality MicroSD card 32 gb?

Anything with "R4" in the title other than the original R4 is just another cart using the "R4" name for sales, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Wood updates more often than AKAIO with compatibility fixes nowadays, and the Acekard 2i's firmware updates are dropping in speed.

Black 2 and White 2 work fine on Wood. People need to stop patching their ROMs so aggressively if they want the games to work... the purpose of a cart's software is to bypass the AP automatically, patching the ROMs separately fucks that up.

No, in this case it's cloned because we're talking about China and they'll copy any sort of name or logo with a twist if they think it'll generate sales.

R4i gold 3ds(r4ids.cn) releases the updating patch faster than ak2i and ak2i does not support 3DS4.3.0-10 till now. R4i Gold 3DS(r4ids.cn) is officially supported by wood r4 and you can play Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 very well with the latest wood r4.

I know, however people want the game English patched for moves and items before the official English release to beat the game before their friends do. At least I have zero freezes from Pokestation's English patch and beat the full game already. Would translation patches mess with the AP process? I hear complaints that patches screw up their flashcards.

Translation patches work fine, it's AP patches you need to stay away from (when the game is properly supported).

Some users don't know this and will apply multiple patches at once, which you shouldn't do.

Exactly. Also, there's a huge difference between a "clone" and an exact replica. Aside from being spring loaded the original R4 is also sturdier and feels more like an official NDS cart. It's feels heavier than my AK2i and other R4 clones as well; it even has the comb-looking contact dividers built-in to the back shell that go over the contacts. I wonder how much stability has been lost between the original and the current $5 models?
