So i recently have been inspired from playing MMZ3 X hacks to replay the 4 megaman zero gba games, i tried to play megaman zero 1 yesterday but it keeps freezing on the introduction scene, i patched it with the flash cart software but it kept doing this.

The version I have already saves to SRAM so I didn't have to apply any patches, just dragged and dropped to my miniSD. I also didn't load the game to NOR... Started up a new game and nothing crashed or hung. Seems to play normally for me.
Sorry, I don't know what could be wrong.

Not really a solution, but you could play Megaman Zero Collection instead. It contains all four original GBA games.
EDIT: oh wait, it's a GBA flashcard. Sorry :')

I turned off the reset patch since it kept resetting from accidently doing the reset button combination , any thing I need to unpatch on it, like the save option?

Well like I said I didn't even run it through the EZ4client software. You could try disabling the save patch since it doesn't seem to be needed. Other than that I'm not sure what to suggest.
Unless it's a weird miniSD problem, but that really shouldn't be the case since games are copied to PSRAM or NOR before being played.

Ah, guess it does need the saver patch after all. If a game's played without patching the saver, it won't save to your minisd at all and will just stay in the SRAM until you load another save to it... and then the save gets erased. :\

pretty much, so that isn't an option to turn it off.

If it's messing up when it's being loaded to PSRAM, maybe you should try loading it to NOR? if that doesn't work, you could try deleting it off your sd and putting something else (a couple MBs of random junk data would do it) there, then copying the ROM back over. I've never had flash memory fail where that would help but its happened with hard drives... if neither of those work I can only imagine the problem having to do with your cart or the mSD. I really don't know, since mine works.
