Well this is very suprising.

I was trying to download something on eShop and i recive an error code (007-1000), i read somewhere that the error was caused because you need to download an update and... well there is a new one.

4.3.0-10U is relased. I still don't know what's new, I suppose that only blocks flashcards.

4.3.0-10U is relased. I still don't know what's new. You don't recieve a message when trying to connect to the eShop. (You need to update from the console settings

Edit: Now eShop shows the alert.

Supercard DSONEi blocked.
I am certain they are using the info gleemed from the Activity log to spped these updates. I knew the DS1i would be blocked fast as they used an odd header (asian header on an English version flash cart.) It was the only asian labeled game being played on the english 3ds. That stands out, and is easy for N to spot.

They can see what you are using through your Activity Log. Now there's no prooof of flash cart use but come on thousands of people suddenly playing 1 specific asian game on a US 3ds? Stand out tall.

I have a theory andd belief;

That's why I shut off that option (under internet settings 'spotpass, read below) for them to examine my play-time-usage.

It's a convoluted process but they can figure out who is using flash carrts with great accuracy, (and no solid proof) by making a visual graph and checked Activity Log usage changes (specific games) against the know headers for present and recent past carts. against the changes that show up after the next update and header change. Remember they have access to knowledge of the cart companies just as we do. It becomes a well informed guess on thier part. But don't worry, there's still no way to prove it... yet.

Under Internet Settings there is a spot pass button, this button gives Nintendo permission to view what games you are playing and for how long., but does not seem to stop system to system spotpass..

You'll still have to accept downlaods (well not if you shut it off, but at least they can't use your logs to track what titles you are playing.
