Maybe, but I don't have the skills like you, lol.
I just can't figure out this music hacking stuff.
Plus, I spent many months thinking about FireRed Version 2, but only about 6 months later I discovered about B/W hacking

lol I rushed my hack, its better to think it through like you did. Oh well, just like you its the music that is keeping me at a stall for the moment.

When I posted my hack...
I only had Cheren and Bianca's sprites changed.
The thing is, I acted quickly, and I spent many, many hours working straight at home, lol.
Now I am practically done with sprites, 40% done with text,
but still 0% on music. It's just so difficult to do!

haha, same problem. People keep asking me to put in new music, it just completes the game I guess. It makes the game feel like more of a unique hack.

I think i may have found a bug. i was walkiing around the grass in route 102 and i found a wild shroomish. i went to go look it up on serebii to see if it learned good moves this gen (i couldnt remmember. ) it was just sitting on that battle screen for a long time but then the music just stopped, like suddenly. the attacks still made noises, there was just no music.

Its not that I dont want to, Im just taking a break. I will complete it, before B2W2 becomes English atleast. Also @SevilitheArcanine that happens because the music is not looped.
