You do know that the EUR KHDD demo will be up on the eShop soon, right? I'd advise visiting it once in a while to check out new demos, a few of them aren't half-bad.

4.x.x-x firmwares seems nicer than 3.x.x-x the system doesn't feel as unresponsive as before. and web browser loads faster/better forums!

To say the truth it's not that offtopic.
Some said this update makes DS and DSi games look better, but we have no proof at all that it happened.
While we discuss that, maybe, some good and smart soul comes here and make things clear.
There is a topic just for Mario Kart DLC.
Some said Web Browser is faster now.
Others say that Friend List is slower to show.

So this update is quite misterious and the only thing we know is that it's connected to Mario Kart 7 DLC.
The topic is quite new and popular to be locked
If it got locked sure there will be another one created in few time

If you have any suggestion i'll be glad to response with my oppinions and impressions.

Untill we have some answers, some concrete info about this update, this topic will be quite offtopic.

My AK2i (HW81, FW 1.44 Labyrinth) won't even show up in the HOME menu of my 3DS since I updated to 4.1.0-8U. Who exactly said that it works?
I hate the new System Update withut PIN BS, too.

its you card having a contact issue if you updated the card before hand and it worked fine

"An error has occured
Press and hold the POWER
Button to turn the system off.
Please refer to the Nintendo DSi
Operaions Manual for details."

I reformatted and installed the 1.8.9
again, but still no luck.
Any help please?

It was Deep Labyrinth I was thinking of. But the system WILL NOT install anything without your permission.

well last thing to think of is a "contact error" problem (have same prob. with my akaio2i 1.8.9z fw1.4.4DSi AND a fat lil b!+c}{ of a iplayer) well pray to god its that or ur SCROOOD

I have the same problem, which is really weird because I was playing Castlevania PoR (Acekard2i) in my 3DS just hours ago, and now I wanted to play again and suddenly I got that error message. I tested it in my DSi and works perfect as always, mmm....
