i have heard it got pushed back to like late summer early fall is this true?

1. Where did you hear this?
2. I wouldn't doubt it. I wouldn't be surprised if they released it in November/December like all the other portable versions of AC. Wild World was released in November iirc, City Folk was released in November, wouldn't be a big shocker if the 3DS version was released in November as well. Don't know why Nintendo sees it fit to release the game when it's winter. Maybe another holiday sales plan?

i saw a topic on ds.ign that that date was like in may 2 then it got pushed back to later on but i was just curious if it true or if it a false rumor that is going around

I guess that would make sense if they released the DS and Wii versions in November, but I know me and a lot of others are really hoping for a late spring/early summer release...basically cause I could play it all day in the summer.
Edit:said fall instead of summer...NOT WHAT I WANT! :ha:

I think you mean late Spring

Anyway, I can't wait for this game. Loved the DS version (my first DS game) and I can't wait to see what they'll do with the swimming. Maybe go diving? (That's probably asking too much, but would be awesome if they did implement this).

My local gamestop has this with a release date of Aug. 2nd. of course this is all subject to change.

I asked a guy in gamestation today he said it was coming late July.
A release date hasn't been announced yet, even to stores (which is why all pre-order dates are so vague).
Additionally, Gamestation employees are also hardly the most reliable people, when it comes to actually knowing things about gaming. Kinda like the employees of PC World.

Animal Crossing has been one of my favorite games since the beginning. Hell, I met a girl on the DS version and I have now known her for around 7 years. I even flew out to meet her. I bought a 3DS at launch just for Animal Crossing. I still have no games for it nor do I care to. I am that big of a fan of Animal Crossing. It's been difficult waiting but it's good to know we are getting close.

Nintendo has announced through its live webcast, Nintendo Direct, that Animal Crossing 3DS will be released in Japan this fall. The English translation of its Japanese title is "Animal Crossing: Jump Out". Of course, it is very likely that the NA and European titles will be different. They also posted a few new screen shots.

Jump out? what?

Maybe they are adding a jump button.

Animal Crossing, a game where one of the top new features on the back of the box is "new flowers!"

I love AC. don't like the direct-translated title, but it wont make me not buy this game.

Probably a nod to 3D and/or StreetPass.
