There are some good sidescroller games:
Megaman Marverick Hunter X
Megaman Powered Up
Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins
Locoroco 2

There is the classic run n' gun in 2 games:
Metal Slug Anthology (1 to X)
Metal Slug XX

There is the best fighting game for PSP:
Bleach Heat the Soul 7

There are good racing games:
Gran Turismo
Need for Speed Most Wanted

There is a great musical game:
Patapon 3

Monster Hunter
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
Dissidia

God of War Ghost of Sparta

Killzone Liberation

Many Great titles, but before saying more, try some of these, they as good as it can get! :D

up until now, whatever game you played in the psp which ones did you enjoy the most?. if you answer me that one question i can suggest you good ones ;)

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
excellent re-imagining of old PC/PS1 era GTA, but for more enjoyable due to excellent controls and graphics. Game play is totally addicting.

Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles
As others have mentioned, this is a beautiful rendering of the Japan exclusive, Rondo of Blood for TG-16. Music is pretty sweet too. Includes SotN and original Rondo as unlockable bonus content. That's all I got! :)

Alright, step aside folks! Lol, j/k...

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Gundam vs Gundam NEXT
Kenka Banchou: Badass Rumble
Dissidia Duodecem
Outrun 2006 (if you haven't played it on xbox or pc or arcade or whatever)

Most of my favs are Japan only and require a bit of reading to enjoy, but those 5 I suggested are always in rotation on my PSP.

Good thread guys. How is Gran Turismo compared to its console counterpart?

Also, are there any first person shooters on the PSP? Any COD like clones?

I haven't played Gran Turismo really but from what I've heard, it runs nicely and everything but it's lacking some modes and features.

There's Call of Duty: Roads to Victory for the PSP although I can't attest to the quality. Medal of Honor: Heroes and Heroes 2 are there too. There's also Coded Arms and its sequel, Coded Arms: Contagion.

GT for PSP has the physics of GT5 (not the awful fake physics of GT1-4) and includes a majority of the tracks and cars from GT4, with a couple extra cars from GT5:Prologue (might just be Lambos, I don't remember). Drift mode from GT5 is also included. Graphics are top notch. There is a decent training mode with different driving challenges (akin to GT4 prologue), but that is all there is in the way of structured gameplay. Lengthy car descriptions (presumably from GT5) and Jay Leno narration are included.

Downsides:
-No career mode, only 'free play', so to speak. Time trial, drift mode, and some rudimentary racing (VS random opponents of the same class or same make) are all you get.
-All tracks unlocked from jump, and cars must be bought piece-meal from a store that rotates manufacturers (less annoying than it sounds, but more annoying than it should be).
-No option to play with a wheel, obviously.
-No night tracks (Hong Kong, drag strip, etc.)

Overall I like it better than GT4 (minus the fact that you can't use a wheel), though the lack of structured gameplay and absence of GT5:P tracks is a bummer.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Great game, but kinda gets annoying when you don't know what to do.
Rock Band: Unplugged. Not bad. Better when you have all the DLC.
There are a few PSX classics, like Final Fantasy, Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil, and more, that you can get from torrent websites

These are just a few that I have, and I have a few folders with over 50 PSP and PSX-PSP games.

i like kingdom hearts bbs unchained blades! ,ff advent child , but its really dificult to name a good game i have the psp and i dont like much games =(

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII , That is one amazing psp game :yay:

Edit: My bad i didn't read the op lol Try playing Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road, it's pretty good imo.

I need some good suggestions for psp. I need to download iso's. I have Final Fantasy Crisis Core, FIFA 12, Final Fantasy Dissidia and god of war. Any other good games that are actually fun to play and not just stated by other sites would be helpful.
all tales games (even those in japanese), digimon games (unfortunaly in japanese but still good), soul calibur
