Hacking Configurable USB Loader

I havn't tryied the MOD myself yet and before I do I want to know if there is a way/option to NOT show the gamecube games (DML) in the list. WHY do you not want to see them,in there aswell some of you probably wonders. Easy answer, I don't, but I realy would like to make use of all the other benefiths (upcoming) of the mod.
So an option to turn that function on and off would be gladly appriciated.

If you are not interested in GC loading then you obviously have no GC games on your SD/USB, therefore you can use the mod and no GC games will show!!!

I do have but I do not want to mix them in with the wii games. I want them seperated from them.

ask FIX if a filter of some sort can be added to the setting

So i tried again with images over the config loader. this time I recorded the stack dump as I retreid and retried.

80a8eee0 -> 80a8eed0 -> 80ade664 -> 80aa85b0 -> 80aa8844 -> 80aa892c -> other addresses, but the last three change every time.

I don't understand why it ever started doing that since it's always worked before I updated to v70.

Hello guys,

There is some weird issue with CFG 70 r22 (the modded one). When I try to dump my copy of Mario Party 9 in the HD it doesn't work... it says the DISC is not a WII DISC.

So for the heck of it I downgraded CFG to the CFG 70 original release (non-modded) and it WORKED!

I don't know where to report this bug so I will report it here. It seems that CFG 70 r22 doesn't like the Mario Party 9 disc but that the original v70 likes it.

Hope this will help anybody else having issues.

So I would guess you are running CFG v70 r22 (might be another rXX of the modded CFG). What I would suggest you to do is downgrade to the original non-modded release of CFG v70 and try running it on CFG again. I am pretty sure this will fix your issue. If it does then there is certainly an issue with the modded version of CFG. You can downgrade from the modded version to the non-modded version directly through the online updates (it is the first item in the update options at the bottom).

It should fix the " DISC is not a WII DISC" problem when you try to dump a Wii DISC.
(it's a bug from mod r18)

i never got any problems with cfg, good and steady loader, but tried the mod thing and i got my first stack dump in cfg
r22, all revs up to r15 is working great, but after that its no go
cant boot any revs above r15 (stack dumps)

got all my cfg files on usb FAT32 1st partition and games on 2nd partition NTFS
using d2x v9 r47 (249 base 56 and 250 base 57)

Edit : nvm found the problem (it seems like cfg dont like custom titles for NGC games on my NTFS partition like this : game name [title ID]

Is the background music volume adjustable by the user or hard-coded with a fixed value? Music plays slightly softer than Wii default sounds.

set all your gamecube games as favourite and press 2

And even then, it is possible to grab heaps of "copies" even without internet. For example, I have about 219 Wii games, and very few were actually downloads. Not all are "legit" though (but at least 64 are these days I try to buy preowned games that I had pirated though... trying to buy them all up... or delete them if they are crap). Back in the day when even I was a Wii noob, when wanin's slow disc dumper was released, I used to copy every Wii disc that ended up in my hands.


But I would not personally call that many of them my "favorites" within a loader though.

ACTUALLY.....where I live we have a store called Goodwill (maybe you have heard of it). I actually have 2 of them close by. I go there frequently and PURCHASE GC games for anywhere between 1 and 2 dollars a piece. ALSO, recently a friend of mine GAVE me all of his old GC games cause he no longer plays them. Also I have a local GameStop to where I PURCHASE some of my GC games as well....but thank you for ASSUMING that I stole them all. OH and I owned previously 40 GC games of my own.

?? just cause some one has over 100 doesn't mean bubkis. i have 110 wii games an my be 20 gc games. i shop at pawnshops/craigslist, or even hit the sales at the local wally world.(some times they have 10$ games in bins, some pawnshops sell games for 5$. so not that unheard of to have 100+ games.( especially with kids.).
