Same could be said for Magical Lightning Speed Cards. That fact of the matter is that neither SD cards or Magical Lightning Speed Cards work in the PSP.

If you're talking about adapters vs MSPD's then you're generally wrong. The fastest result will mostly come from the memory stick standard.

HG Duo cards are more preferred if you want speed, write speed I mean. But if you want capacity go to Dual SDHC adapters. It can go up to 64GB (58GB Showed up on system)

so i saw the sony pro-hg duo today at a local retail store. i also saw a translucent green sandisk. the sony was priced at $35 and the sandisk was $25. i'm tempted to grab one or the other but i would like opinions. i read the pro-hg has fast write speeds, what about read speeds? i can't find much about the green sandisk, no idea if it sucks in regards to the psp.

I want to suggest getting the Sony one since the green Sandisk doesn't seem right for some reason but mostly becuase I have a 16GB MSP HG Duo and it quite fast regarding to game loading times.

like the 16gb i see a MSHX16A, MSHX16B, MSHX16G on amazon. i read something about speed but i'm not sure which is best, which do i want. the MSHX16A is selling for $39 with amazon fulfillment, and i'm tempted to buy it right now.

Honestly, just go for it. Even a Photofast adapter is fast enough that only a handful of CSO's ever ran oddly for me (which was fixed by decompressing). Just get something that has the memory size that you want.

I'm gonna assume that is for write speed and I think its been said here that playing games is read not write so I wouldn't worry so much but i'm not the most knowledgeable with memory cards anyway.

looking at sony's store the "B" is the one they are stocking, so i'll assume that's the new build. i can't find out much about the "G".

those translucent sandisks are for sale on their site, they are "gamer" versions of their cards. no idea what that means.

i can grab one of the gamer ones for about $45 and the normal looking flat black version for the same price. the normal one has the model number SDMSPD-016G-A11. does anyone know the difference between them?

has anyone used their "gamer" cards? is it fast enough? any issues?

what about the normal sandisk? i can grab the 16gb for the same price as two 8gb gamer cards.

i am thinking i should get a card for a psp i picked up off ebay. i already have a 16 gb mirco sdhc. i am leaning toward the the photofast adapter. the micro card will be used in an acekard 2i. i don't think i'll fill up a 16 gb card with ds games.

Do keep in mind that if you wish to share that card between the PSP and the DS then you have to forget about the second Photofast slot altogether - if you use two SD's at one time, neither of them will be readable in any other device when separate.
