You're actually going to look at downloaded apps (which are of course encrypted) in Notepad (which would be useless even if they were decrypted as they are binary files) and you think you know about hacking? Well good luck with that.
What, you saying his ideas are good? :/
Did you read my post, or do you just not get sarcasm?

I don't know when people are being sarcastic on the internet.

because your stupid?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I've been laughing for the last 60 seconds and I'm not even sure why... unless I scroll back up and read it again. ;)

Well anyways, here's an interesting article I just looked at. It would also apply to the PSP/PS3 folks as well. It would be just like Sony to reuse the same semiprime over and over. But sadly, probably not with any keys ever since the "don't reuse the same so-called random 'k' value in all your keys" fiasco from a while back. In fact, the tools for generating keys have fixed the 'weak semiprimes' issue for quite a long time. I'm just shocked that they actually broke the keygen with a stupid 'fixed' value of 'k' in the algorythm. It's as bad as the old DES with 16 of the 56 key bits frozen for people outside the USA. ;) I'm sure Google has links to better technical details but the link above is pretty good as well.

I'm a total n00b in hacking and stuff so I'm not sure how things work and since i think hacks comes through game bugs and I found one I thought I might share it... If I'm wrong then disregard my post...
Well I got a pretty weird bug while playing "Fun! Fun! Mini golf touch"... I had just finished the Asian cup and got some money, I went back to the main menu and into the shop... when I bought the Europe cup the game totally freaked out like graphical bugs for a sec and then completely froze in a semi dark game logo screen with no sound... no buttons worked at all... had to turn off the 3ds and back on...
Although when I turned on everything was fine and the cup was already bought...
I dunno if this bug might be helpful in something but just noting it up in case it's worth... Hope I helped! =D

CTR was the 3DS's internal codename, so you'll see those letters plastered over most things 3DS, including the model numbers, the game cards and the custom 3DS microcontroller chip inside. But, yeah, it is 3DS related he was talking about the boards on IRC yesterday.

This is my first 4-layer board, mainly because I needed more IOs on the FPGA, and it was only possible with a damn BGA package (evil and expensive!).
What could possibly go wrong? Or.. what could possibly get hacked? :-)

Was his quote attached to his photo.

Meh, 'teh evah BGA' is going to be worthless in about 2 years as a protection method since people have figured out how to do rebeads at home. It already IS if you are a professional and have tons of cash+tools. It also is if you're a skilled hardware hacker and make your own tools.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but you could probably make an exploit through a picture. You can save pictures on your browser, and open them later in the camera app.

you are either correcting me or you are calling me stupid correctly
Well he is correcting you, and also sort of calling you stupid... And also for that of bad grammar and spelling..

Hey, be nice to each others.. It doesnt matter if they have a bad grammar and spelling. As long as we understand each others or asking nicely to rephrase the sentence. ;)
