well guys... The Last Story is coming in 4 days
lets talk here till the preorders and, eventually, the scene release arrives

I don't know if I'll pre-order or not, I don't have much free time to play all my games.
I'm trying to complete the games I already own.

I didn't see a lot of previews from The Last Story, I'm less hyped than I was for Xenoblade.

All the videos I saw for the moment are battles mechanics.
Is there a deep/long story too, or is it battles over battles?
Is it a long game? how many hours to finish/complete it?

I wanna preorder. But my $$ is really low. Even tho salary incoming soon, I've got tons of sheit to pay off.. Sucks working only 50% ;)

Is there a deep/long story too, or is it battles over battles? I heard that it has a good story
Is it a long game? how many hours to finish/complete it? But, I also heard that it's short due to its linearity
I played a bit the japanese version.... while I can’t say much about the story (because I don’t know japanese), I noticed how well mixed battles and cinematic sequences are
The first boss battle has a Lord Of The Rings feel

I don't know why everybody is less hyped about this than Xenoblade. Personally, I'm more interested in The Last Story than I was Xenoblade (and I loved Xenoblade). From what I have heard, the story in the Last Story is as good, if not better than the story in Xenoblade. From the little bit of TLS I've played, I find the battle system deeper and more interesting. Also, I like the last story's music better (and again, I loved the music in Xenoblade). In general, it looks like a fantastic game, and hopefully it lives up to my expectations.

How how easy it would be to take out the extra voices. Didn't someone do that with xenoblade to make it smaller

I think we should consider this thread the official help thread too.
Like we did for Xenoblade, everyone posted in the hype thread to get other user's help instead of creating a new thread every time.

There's no such topic yet, so it's a good place to start :)

that's a good idea... maybe you can change the name of the thread

are you planning in doing a super mini guide just like you did with Xenoblade? :creep:

Maybe, if I have time (which I'm missing recently. My guides always ends incomplete  ), but I'll try if there's things I can do.
I'm sure there will be complete guides on other website like gamefaqs, but I like the community driven faqs helping each other here :P

I'll buy the game this weekend only.

edit: Topic renamed.

Its a lot more fun in english than jap lol
Ive only played through the first dungeon and already learned a lot of new stuff I had no idea about from the jap version :P

What's deemed as the better control scheme? CC Pro or the Wiimote? I'm picking up the game up as we speak.
I though that you only play hardcore Neo-Geo and Master System games...

If you like to control the camera go with the Classic Controller

There's only about twelve Neo-Geo and Master System games :(

But thanks for that, I'm going CC on this than.

Im just fucking loving the last blade 2 right now... so much fun :D
I personally prefer the wiimote+nunchuk scheme to play RPGs, that way I cant rest my hands on the side of my legs (yeah... Im THAT lazy)

dunno why you can only control the camera with the CC on this game
Xenoblade lets you do that with the wiimote
