I can't remember where I read it, but I heard that there may be a library developed using this player. How is that going? I'd like to see what systems this can be used on as I'd like to run it not only on the DS, but perhaps a Wii.

Have you ever thought of putting something in the white space on the upper screen? like either a logo with or a list of commands on how to use the NDS Music Player.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/lactlib/files/nds/sps.NitroMusicPlayer.7z
This version uses dual screens...

Avenir, I'm having problems with your version of SSEQ Player PoC v1. I don't have this with the version that I already have on my R4DS.

"Initializing libfat... done.
Reading frontend (SPS)... failed.
Application Halted."

My SPS files are in "/Data/NDS Music Player" (which they should be anyway) and complied them using the filename option in SPS Maker.

My SPS files which are in /Data and use the Original File name.
It has to be in /data/NDS Music Player/.

Sorry... I noted down the wrong directory by mistake, It's been corrected now.

Anyway... I used the edited complied version which Avenir posted yesterday (nicely edited, by the way) and the playlists don't load on the upper screen.

Although... I haven't had any problems with the original, as everything works perfectly and everything is where it should be on the micro sd which I use with my R4DS flashcard.

Perhaps try the latest version of the SPS maker. Other than that, I wouldn't know what to do.

And, I'm guessing there won't be a library for this? I'd love to make an SSEQ with this for homebrew.

Well... There's two versions of the NDS Music Player.

One which has a basic interface and works properly which no problems with playlists or identifying complied sps files.
One which has a better interface than the original and doesn't work properly.

I know which one, I'd rather have working... ;) it isn't SPS Maker which is the problem, neither is it the SPS files which it complies...

Well, the only other solution is this:

Are you running the app through Moonshell?

aww yes. You need to use MoonShell2 to browse to /data/NDS Music Player/ then select a sps. My version uses extlink.

Actually... it is meant to be used with XenoFile, which is now forbidden...

Avenir, can't you get it to work directly with Wood or any other flashcard kernels?

As I don't fancy going back to using Moonshell, when I already have Wood R4 on my flashcard.

Sry for double post.

Say, sleep mode music listening much like moonshell would be a neat feature in the future, I'd be really happy to see it someday..!

My extlink edition already has that feature.

If you don't like extlink and you have R4, you can use /__rpg/associations.ini instead.

I used to drink alcohol fairly often. Never to the point of it being a problem, but like 2-3 beers with dinner each night, or a few cocktails or glasses of Scotch or something. Started smoking/vaping weed a lot a few years back which killed 90% of my interest in booze. Now I stopped smoking/vaping weed as much and just deal with life the boring way most of the time

Spoke to Tom Fulp the other day, if he can find his old Newgrounds site content like the mini Flash animations from the 2000's that played on the portal.

@SylverReZ, atleast the 1999 versión of pico's school is avaliable (the difference between it, the 2006 versión and the 2016 versión is that the speed of the game depends of the speed of your computer and that it had the og soundtrack)

@Xdqwerty, Another being Pico VS Bear, the original 1999 version before Jim Henson filed a DMCA takedown.
