Does anyone know of good, at least somewhat updated, Dualshock 3 PC drivers? I'm not going to use MotionInJoy, it's not worth it at all(yes, I've used it. Yes, it has spyware in it. Yes, it screwed my computer up once already.) I've been looking for quite a while, and I haven't found anything that's updated even to 2010 that isn't MotionInJoy.

I've heard about those drivers, but I've not actually found them yet. Does anyone know where to find them, or something else they know works?

That's not fully the point. The point is, last time I used it, which was quite recently, it majorly screwed up a lot of things. Enough to where I was tempted to reinstall Windows 7 again.

That's not what you said earlier, you claimed it has spyware... that's a serious claim (both for social and legal reasons), you shouldn't be making it if it's not true.

As for it messing up your computer, what exactly happened? We need to know this, since alternatives would also require driver installs and if something was wrong we need to find the cause.

You claimed it to be spyware. It can't be spyware. Spyware does exactly what's in its name (spy on you). If it was spyware, it would be tracking you and/or stealing your passwords, not screwing up things. If it really was a virus, you'd call it malware.
However, it is not malware. It is a software that modifies system files, it functions as a driver. If used/installed improperly, it could potentially cause damage. You know, we could troubleshoot it if you told us exactly what happened. Even if you didn't fix the problem, you'd likely have issues with the alternatives as Rydian said.

WTFIGOH (What the Fuck Is Going On Here?)

Motionjoy causing spyware? I see advertisments in the software but the probability of it actually doing something is like near nothing. You don't know shit about logic. Reinstall motionjoy and accept any damages to be your fault

By that I mean if shit gets destroyed, it's because you took the wrong shit in the wrong toilet.
