One 3DS game card has up to 8GB capacity btw.

why not. arent they using a bigger cart for RE Revelations? and i believe 3ds carts are 4gb right now, that means that this game will be bigger than 4gb and its just the begining of the 3ds

Of course, these are all useless right now, so they could be anything, not that I doubt legacy. Even if the crown 3ds works, which gets more doubtful by the day, its likely region locked, so these will continue to be useless to a lot of people.

Not really. I've checked LoZ for accuracy and it seems legit, especially coming from LGC.

What I don't like : These dumps give n00bs false impressions on the extension of 3DS ROMs. Now we're gonna see all 3DS ROMs be *.3DS =/ The actual extension is *.CCI
Not a big deal, but that's my (small) complaint about the dumps...

if you give name extension CCI, is not too familiar with another newbie is a 3DS ROM DUMP or not XD yeah i know CCI is CTR cart image, 3DS = CTR, NDS = NTR. that all Xd

without 3DS Flashcart, no emulator, since for now don't know how to read that dump rom on 3ds (without that, developer don't know how to read or how to emulate them), exploit on read dump ROM with flashcart on 3DS Console. the main problem is encrypted, bigger file size, and new format.

desmume & no$gba is stored temp rom file on RAM, ideas is read directly to drive without stored on RAM.

so i say flashcart first, after that emulator. the best method is read directly without stored rom file on ram, since 3ds rom are BIGGER...

According to the NFOs, Legacy shared the dumper they use. It is possible all the games out will be getting dumped. Let's just hope they can be put to some use one day .

I think it's easier to make a flashcard than an emulator.
The flashcard can "hold" the ROM information, the data is a 1:1 dump of the chipset, you just replace the exact same data into another empty cartridge and the game will work.
You just need a re-flashable 3DS cartridge.
No need to decrypt the data or know the crypt keys.

While doing an emulator will require the decrypting of the dump's content in order to read the files and game code.
Without talking about the computer requirement, the 3D emulation, writting the emulator code can take years to have a playable frame rate.


If the 3DS is well protected, we won't find the keys before months, while the flashcard doesn't need that step.

I guess if it was that simple, duplicated game cartridges would be already available.
