Thanks to the latest 3DS update, DLC is now possible for 3DS games. What games would you like to see DLC for?

Mine, I would like to see it for add characters and new tracks to Mario Kart 7.

Nintendo actually kinda dislike DLC.

Well, I would love to see DLC for Mario Kart 7. Perhaps if you can pay via eShop funds that would be even better.

There was some sort of DLC system before the Update. I recall Sammurai warriors Chronicles already having DLC in the form of new levels, items and weapons. I would love to see some new Super Mario 3D Land goodness.

That's SpotPass updates. DOA also has em'

It's just that SpotPass updates are provided by thirds, and DLC is the more Fancy word for: "Nintendo official downloadable content for your Nintendo Licensed games". Or something like that. I don't know if there is a actual diffrence

there's technically no difference with Spotpass and DLC, except in the case of Samurai Chronicles and DOA. Those are NOT downloadable content, but unlockable content. They're already in the game cartridge, they're just unlocked thru Spotpass. True DLC involves adding content, features and game fixes through software that's downloaded on top of the game software being updated.

As for which games they should include DLC, I'd like to see first if they plan on implementing DLC for already published games. If they do that (RE:Mercs), then there's real chance for other lackluster games to shine, in the form of DLC. I'd be genuinely excited then.

I want DLC for Mario Kart 7 for more tracks and characters. I dislike a lot of the tracks on this game. I want a rainbow road only tournament :D.

this glitch
i know that when i post thisalmost every noob who doesnt know about this would start using it but i wanna say this, do not use it!!!! it completely ruins the race and you should feel ashamed of doing it!

I don't go online thinking that I want to do this glitch. I do it if someone picks this track cuz I assume they know it and that is why they chose this track. The vote system is broken I swear. I got this track 3 straight races XD.

Is there anyway Nintendo could fix this glitch either by sending a new update for the Nintendo 3DS or give us a DLC for it? If not, they either will let it slide or just fix it in their future product order. I doubt Nintendo would order a recall to give us a replacement or something. If possible, a Nintendo 3DS patch would be just the thing.

i think Resident Evil: the mercenaries 3D should get DLC.
+single card mode. (edit: it already has local multiplayer, just no single card mode yet.)
+more characters, costumes, weapons, & Maps.
+add option to reset save data.
+more variate of enemies.
+more content on the Resident Evil: Revelations Demo.

that's the only online 3DS game i have, i also have ocarina of time 3D but that one doesn't need anything lol

I would hope so. If patching is now possible (which I believe it is), then they should starting patching games and giving us DLC. If Nintendo wants to keep up with Vista, they need to have more modern tech in their consoles. The 3D is awesome but I hate the idea of being in 2011 and still not having patching or DLC on Nintendo platforms for console games and not Wiiware crap or virtual console. At least Nintendo is slowly getting on the idea of patching with call of duty on the wii, now transfer that to our 3DS's :D. Also Resident Evil DLC would be awesome :P
