Gaming What Games should i get for the 3DS?

So, for christmas i am getting a 3DS, and as far as i know i am only getting Mario Kart 7, what other games should i get? I was considering Super Mario 3D Land, but i didn't like super mario brothers ds.

Also, is Super Mario 3D Land more like Super Mario Galaxy or Super Mario Brothers?

Ok, i was looking at Ocarina of Time, but i just couldn't get into it on the 64, but it kinda seems like it would be better on the 3DS

nah its still the same game only difference might be your age still wouldn't recomment it if you are no Zelda freak (i don't like it at all)

better get games anyone can play in between times when you are bored, like Mario Kart ... everything else depends on you, i favor Tales of The Abyss completely game i played the longest time yet.

well i just got my 3ds 5 days ago and i got mario kart 7 super mario 3d land and loz with it, i suggest mario kart 7 cuz it is a fu**ing must, except that everything is up to you,
i dont own anymore games so i cant tell you bout talesor ssfIV, but yeah i did enjoy sm3dl and i am gaining interest in loz

Shadow Wars Ghost Recon's Tom Clancy is meant to be pretty good. I played around with it for a bit and I'd recommend it.

Games that I own and recommend are Tales of the Abyss, DoAD, Samurai Warriors Chronicles well, that's without including Zelda.. But from the games I own, those are my fave ones. =O

Dont get mario 3d land coz it IS like super mario bros DS, people who say its like galaxy are most likely trying to delude themselfs into thinking the game is better than it is.

Ocarina of time is still one of the best games you will play, i dont know why you couldnt get into it on the N64 but its a great remake and plays better on the 3DS.

The only other 2 games id recommend are dead or alive and tales of the abyss but since you are getting mario kart 7 then i would recommend getting tales of the abyss, theres alot more too it and whilst you could play mario kart 7 in short bursts, tales of the abyss is a long game with TONS of side quests and stuff to do to keep you busy.

Super Mario 3D Land is awesome albeit a little short. Its gameplay mechanics are simply good and the feel is amazing.

SSFIV 3D plays very well, although not as robust as the console versions but it has a fair share of fun.

Basically, all games that I'd reviewed are fun IMO.

It is kinda like Super Mario Brothers game play with Super Mario Galaxy graphics/style.

To be honest, I prefer galaxy game play.

Mario Kart 7 is a good choice!

If you like platforming:

Sonic Generations: This game is a mix between Sonic TH 1,2 and 3 and Colors like.
Shinobi: HARD GAME. For hardcore players like me.
Cave Story 3D: if you like Metroid you will like this.
Mario 3D land is a Mario 64+Mario bros bit. Plays better then NSMB(New super mario)

If you like fighting(And boobs)

Take Dead or Alive Dimensions(Great fighting game and moving body parts )
Street Fighter IV 3D Edition just SSFIV but in 3D, actually I like it somehow.
