Yes, it was originally Final Fantasy Agito XIII.

Actually, it's a series in itself. And since it had nothing to do with FFXIII, they decided to change its name to Type-0. They're hoping to release sequels if Type-0 really gets that popular (Type-1, Type-2, etc). Which it is, so I wouldn't be surprised.

I was actually looking into this title and searching for decent translations, and now this pops up! Good for me.

Side Note: Crisis Core was awesome, it finally got rid of the immensly time-consuming battle system in favour of one that didn't compromise the strategic value of Materia-based magic and at the same time made battles more interesting and fast-paced. I'm lovin' it and I sincerely hope that I'll be able to play something similar again.

I'm half-way through the game and with the Defence build of Zack, I've literally *never* used dodge in the entire game - I just block and recieve hardly any damage at all.

this game is more a hack and slash than anything... hit hit hit hit, dodge, hit hit hit hit, dodge... they enemy has a limitbreak that cant be dodge? barrier + curaga....
