Modern Warfare 3

Hey guys. Today I would like to discuss with you about choosing Modern Warfare 3 for the pc or the ps3 (Choose one of the two, don't say xbox 360).

Currently I just can't decide weither to go for the pc version or the ps3 version. What would you choose and why?

It depends what your mates play on, if ps3 then choose that since its better online with your mates.

PC, only because the PS3 controller is awful for FPSes.

Also, he didn't ask if he should get it or not. He said if he should get it for PC or PS3. Go try GameFAQs if you're that desperate to hate on the game.

PC has mod support for servers and crap, but the Modern Warfare games tend to be designed with the consoles in mind, so it's really a wash.

MW3 more often then not are designed for consoles even though playing on PC is awesome.
I'd still get it on PS3 but thats mostly cuz Ican't run windows.

Get it on PS3. CoD is designed for consoles, and there are better PC FPSes out there.
It also depends on your play preferences, if you like precision and accuracy, go for PC. If a challenge is what you're looking for, go PS3.
Also, if you plan on playing with your friends, simply pick the system your friends are playing on.

Actually I prefer it to the 360 controllers.

Same here. There's a few manouvers I do with my fingers when playing CoD with the PS3 controller that I can't do with a 360 controller (like reaching my index finger around the controller to the D-pad in order launch a killstreak reward rather than moving my thumb). My only gripe is the PS3 L2/R2 triggers are a really stupid convex design. I bought little shoes for my controller to compensate for that, and I couldn't be happier. They make it feel more like 360 triggers (but slightly spongier), and let me play on Flipped controls (L2=ADS, R2=shoot).

Pro-tip: If you're playing an FPS with a controller, you're not getting as much control as you could be. That and the communities for console shooters tend to be much more saturated with whiny kids than those of the PC variety.
