Hello to everyone,
I have here one Wii form europe (PAL) and i would like to know how do I change the system color from PAL to NTSC (my tv just supports NTSC)?

Wii black 4.3 with homebrew channel

ARC_mod06_offline4.1_all

Will make my wii 4.3E become one wii 4.1 U (system color NTSC and DVD Games NTSC) like an legit wii form USA right?
How do i apply the file?

I would not recommend actually installing the NTSC sysmenu. If you do and then you update, you will most likely brick with Error 003. A better way would be to use Priiloader hacks.

That only happens with region-chaged Korean Wii's doesn't it? Due to the Korean Common key being present?

I believe it can, yes. You just have to change all the settings to USA (and NTSC video mode) and install 4.1U with it.

having a multi-system TV will save you from this, almost all :"latest LCD/LED" TV's are multi-system anyway. And some CRT TV (mostly CRT TV's came from Saudi Arabia are 99.99% multi-system)

if you want to convert your European Wii to USA, follow the ModMii Softmod guide and treat your Wii as not hack before, even if you did hack it already.

scratch that, youre clear to go, as long as you're not using a Korean Wii, you're safe from 003 errors

If you want it to look/feel like an unmodded NTSC Wii, SNEEK/UNEEK with a virgin 4.3U NAND (I use Ohneschwanzenegger to generate NANDs) would probably be your best bet. Or I suppose you can restore that NAND directly to your Wii, but I don't recommend that.

Agree on using u/sneek+di. For that you have zero risk on bricking your Wii.
Changing your physical Wii is always having risks. I liked emulated Wii nand.

You can use Any Region Changer mod6 to change any wii of any region to the region of your choice, which would install sm 4.1 plus needed elua, region select, etc.There is a guide for that here-

The most important thing to condisider is that 4.3 stubbes ios70, you need to replace this with a functional ios70. If you don't a 4.2 disc update would brick a 4.1 downgraded wii from 4.3.

That guide works great, but it is not how I would do it anymore. I you would like to region change I would suggest doing the region change via my softmod any wii guide-

This method is preferred to me, installing the system menu, elua, region select via wad. Then changing only the setting in Any region Changer. I would suggest you do the whole guide from start to finish, installing the modpack of your needed region and then changing the settings as described in the guide. You can't go wrote if you follow the directions.

Both methods work just fine, so have at it. As I said, the Softmod ANY wii guide is the better method.
