ROM Hack A unique pokemon hack, what do you think

Ive had a good idea for a Pokemon Black and White hack, basically my idea is to make a classic hack.

What it would basically be is a classic hack I would replace all the sprites for each pokemon and replace them with the original sprites from each generation, e.g. Pokedex 1-151 would use the original sprites from Red and Blue, 152-251 would use the original sprites from Gold and Silver and so on. All Pokemon would be available throughout the game

Ok i know it may look a little weird on the DS stepping back in graphical terms for the sprites but thats part of the draw.

I would call it Pokemon Black and White Generations

Also I would bring back all the teams from past version and if possible split the game into 5 parts with each team having a mini story in the game, I would also bring back the team leaders from each generation and make them the elite four members, obviously the 5th would still be N. Each team leader will have their original pokemon from the last battle of the game they were in

Basically red, blue, silver and gold pokemon would be GB sprites, ruby and sapphire pokemon gba sprites, pearl and diamond pokemon ds sprites and black and white would stay the same. Each team member would be in the original sprites from each series as well

This would be quite a big job but what do you guys think, would you be interested in something like this.

Looks interesting, while it doesn't turn like the other 1000 promising hacks never finished. At first I thought you would demade the game into GB graphics, which would be cool IMO.

Of pokemon graphics, I think you should make them the same style, like all the pokemons sprites being of the 2nd gen or that your characters turn the style of each generation -something that I think is very difficult with the rom hacking tools avaible for pokemon atm-

Why not demade all the sprites into 1st or 2nd gen? I remember that there are some sprites of 3rd and 4th gen for G/S/C

Thats an interesting idea, I could do that but I want to bring a nostalgic effect, people to remember the sprites from the good ol days, but what the people want the people get I guess.

I would only do it if the sprites are available to me, im not an artistic person, I wouldnt make them, its easy to find sprites from previous versions but creating them is something completely different

I dont know if that would be possible, if it is then I would definitely do that.

Well, the don't seem to have a lot of activity in the NDS hacking section, they make a lot of GBA games tho. But I found something interesting, two guys were researching the functions of B/W, how to start a mart, show a message, etc. Everything is done through hex. Oh, one more thing, it's in spanish, but is very interesting.

Theres programs that allow you to extract and import sprites so shouldnt be too difficult.

As I said in the first post this is an ideal hack, I don't know loads about the pokemon hacking but Im a quick learner.

Again stop shitting, i havent researched this properly yet, so I dont know how feasible it is, but this is my ideal game, if I cant do it with black and white ill do it with diamond and pearl

This probably is not going to be possible unless you learn how to do hex editing and that stuff.
If you want an idea, even the third gen doesn't have a tool for specifically editing the Pokémon sprites.
