Hey there!

I've made a compilation of 16 high-quality 3D Minecraft images specifically for you to view on your 3DS!

They can be downloaded and put on your SD Card* from here: link.
Alternatively, simply visit this link using the 3DS Browser: link.

If you want a preview, go to the above link and have a look (though they don't look a fraction as good in 2D as they do on the 3DS!)

Hope you enjoy them! Give me some feedback, and suggestions for new images if you like :D

-Alex.

*Some images will not appear under the correct date when added to your SD card (you may need to go to 01/01).

Oooh, will try later.
What was your world seed?

The world seed that was used for majority of the images is: 9104904240678805341
Hope you enjoyed the images :)

I have to say that this is WAY better then I expected.
I felt like I could pick up the controls and play it.

Thanks so much! They're all specifically created and aligned so they look good on the 3DS screen, so I'm really glad you liked them.
Creating these made me really hope that Minecraft comes to the 3DS some day. I think it would be great!

Anyway you could upload these to a MPO hosting site? Its much more simplified and easier for 3DS users :)

Sure! I'll get on that soon (I'll update this post and the OP when done).
Done! You'll find all the images here: 3D Porch.

Looks pretty good. Can you do more? Shoot, if possible, do them in a video in the future.

I'd love to do more, but I'm afraid there's not much more to show in my map. If anyone has any cool maps, seeds or requests, though, I'd be happy to see what I can do.
As for videos, I'd love to. Hopefully when the 3DS video update comes out, adding user generated ones won't be too hard, and if so, I'd definitely give it a try!

Nice! Too bad the cross eyed technique doesn't work very well with these pictures. Any chance of making a parallel-eyed stereogram?

Edit: Nvm, it seems as if the pics aren't accurate enough to be able to see with this technique:

If eyestrain and distortion are to be avoided, each of the two 2-D images preferably should be presented to each eye of the viewer so that any object at infinite distance seen by the viewer should be perceived by that eye while it is oriented straight ahead, the viewer's eyes being neither crossed nor diverging. When the picture contains no object at infinite distance, such as a horizon or a cloud, the pictures should be spaced correspondingly closer together.

Not really 100% sure on what you mean (sorry!). If you'd like differently spaced versions, I could probably do that.

Anyway, I uploaded a couple more MC images, and also one of GTA 3 (which actually looks quite good). So, enjoy!
