1.Download DSLazy here
2.Open your DSLazy
3.Select your KH 358/2 Days ROM, by pressing "..." button.
4.After that click the "nds unpack" button.
5.A folder will pop-up.
6.DO NOT EXIT YOUR DSLAZY!

8.After that go to the folder inside the NDS_UNPACK
9.Go to the "data > mi > ch"
10.Select the character that want to replace with Roxas. To check it see the codes up there and get your hacked character.
11.Copy your selected character, and go to the "data > ba > ch > ro"
12.You will find folder "def_hb.p"
13.Paste your selected files in there.
14.Rename the selected files you have just pasted to "def_hb.p"
15.And restore the DSLazy, click nds pack button.
16.Rename the file that you liked
17.Click save!

No matter what you did the game wouldn't run well. It would involve replacing Roxas's model in the game with a model of Ven. Even then, it would be terribly glitchy and I bet you could expect frequent crashes.

Just stick to Roxas.

Just stick to Roxas.

Not nescarrily replacing the model but rather modifying it then replacing it, its not nesscarrily a terrible Idea seeing as how it should cause too many problems if you know what your doing. Also, why would you want to play as Ven?

EDIT: I'm going to say based off of this video that Ven is hidden in the game and pre-existing but never used. There are many many games that have left over content that was never used.

the items he's picking up are quite common in mission mode.

the "day 357" part, haven't seen that yet so i don't know if it's normal or not.
but the mission he did was 1 of the 1st mission mode missions.(defeat the red tango mission i think)

Long story short, no. As far as I know, most of the hacking done for KH 358/2 days was done with the Japanese rom when it came out. Given that this video is a fairly indepth hack, it probably is for the Japanese version. The US version hasn't been out long enough for the hacking to progress beyond the, get unlimited panels of anything, stage. It'll be probably a week or two before people really start messing around with the inner working of the game. Forgotten stages, unused sprites, that stuff. Once someone's figured out how to do it, you just have to talk to them

Wow i can't beleive no one knew who Vento(Ven) was. So you guys know he is the character who is supposedly deeply related to both Sora, and Riku and is thought to be him who gives his powers to the both of them thus Sora's nobody looking like Ven and everyone thinking that Roxas was Ven.
