The long awaited Grand Theft Auto VI Extended Look gameplay trailer has finally dropped on YouTube. As you all know, it had dropped 6 hours earlier on Netflix, and was obviously ripped and reposted on YouTube by dozens of accounts, but we've chosen to embed the official Rockstar account video below instead.

Looks good, but not good enough to be chugging along at 20 FPS. All they had to do was allow you to toggle ray tracing off to double the performance, but that would leave a lot less incentive to double dip on the PC and next gen versions.

It looks amazing, but it's 100% 30fps not even solid 30 at that. Doubt the pro will be any better either because it uses the same CPU as the base model. If they can give me at least 40 fps on performance mode that would be a must buy for me. 30fps in 2026 is just so yucky.

So... You actually believe the circa 2020 shitty PS5 can do THIS game at 60 FPS?

Really???!!!

Rockstar just spent by far the most in history on this game, delayed it by more than a year to optimize it, gave it the best visuals ever, and you are whining because of 30 FPS.

Two thoughts simultaneously:

1. I'm not even a GTA fan, but I love gaming. Rockstar just makes massive playgrounds with as much physics and interactable nonsense they can cram in, and takes 10 years and thousands of people to do it. It's a spectacle, and a damn good one. I'm on board.

2. Good god I hope that's just base PS5 because, as good as it looks, the image quality is really soft with TAA streaking everywhere. In those driving scenes, the internal res just seems to drop aggressively and it's very noticeable even through YouTube compression.

We should roll back to look at all retro gaming reasons why make us happy to play old games over and over again often times. Old school gaming forever for us and people.

Anytime in one day then internet will be destroyed then all digital games with DRM will be unplayable then turn into garbages straight to dump at landfill. Also AI data centers and AI companies will get busted up in near future. Also it will impact on nuclear energy power plants to be destroyed in near future. Federal and government will face huge crisis in near future. RIP internet in near future.

i really share your opinion, but we, people on this forums are a niche, we are far less in quantity than the general public, we can all agree on dont buying that overrated shit and still they are going to make millions and keep doing what they want
