I am setting up the github page, works well with audio and datacd(both mode1 and mode2)

After the first release i will move to udf support and decss.

The nintendo switch can play cd/dvd rom! :rofl2:

I tested lib on some usbdvd drives i found and it works on “recent” drives that are subclasss 0x02 , other drives (old) that are subclass 0x05 (a class used for floppy/zip/tape maybe) will not supported at first.

The library is a c++ but i added also a c interface so it will work on c app also.

I think it will be released this weekend. Enjoy!

And also i tested against libusbhsfs, no problems using both on an app (new NXMilk will use both)

Is there a 32 band eq, and if not would it be hard to add? Also do you have a kofi? this project is really really cool to me and probably many others I'd love to support for cool future developments

It crashes on 21.2.0 AMS 1.10.2
The loading screen appears and then it crashes
I have to recompile it with new libnx, i will do it soon

Testing new version , it will feature also real CD-AUDIO playback (if a usb drive is connected)
Since it uses new libusbdvd it should work on nearly any DVD/BD drives

Working on 0.4.1 version that will feature extended dvd/bd drive support and a brand new engine for midi playback. wiped out libmdplug (was easy to use since is ffmpeg linked but with POOR quality) in favor of libfluidsynth (that can use soundfonts file, i tested with a 130mb soundfont and quality is superior), but is not ffmpeg aware, so i put a secondary plaback thread/path for use it. is working very well. time to test things and a new release will arrive very soon

Found a big issue , the great libusbhsfs is also a bit "arrogant" and for 0x06 drive classes used by many bd drives it reset the bus so it will close app, this is not an libusbhsfs issue, @DarkMatterCore made it in the right way and he use 0x06 class that is intended for usb mass storage oppsite from 0x02 that is reserved for Optical drives, but since vendors are lazy they sell drives with 0x06 class instead of the right one. The solution since i repeat libusbhsfs is perfect and works as is inteded to be is to separate menus , one for USB Mass Storage and one for CD/DVD/BD Drives, so if one is started the other one is not loaded.

It working with super drive of Apple

The proof
4 cd (3 comercial 1 homemade). 1 commercial found as CD-ROM no audio and can’t reproduce

Sometimes trying to exit or going to menu the app crash

I request. I found that Y works to push back screen and to go to Menu. Maybe X could work for put black screen

Screen images over reproducing are hard, maybe include some others with less changes soft color more relaxing or a fix image

Maybe the commercial one is a mixed mode CDDA with Data, i have to investigate, yes vis is a bit psychedelic, i will put also a more relaxing fixed image in future

Actually it isn’t. It’s a regular audio CD in theory

Maybe I could give you some head data to review and look if there is something to bypass with more disc

What do you need?
