Is it possible to make Switch-managed dirs/parts inaccessible to homebrew?

Using both sysMMC (online) and emuMMC (offline), I've encountered a few examples of homebrew being dangerous in regards to causing accidental bans. Tico immediately comes to mind, as I recall that it prompts to make a forwarder on first run.

I know that installing anything without sigpatches active will result in an error, but wouldn't merely the act of attempting to install something get logged too?

Is it possible to prevent accidents like that? I'm thinking it could help if some Switch-managed directories or partition were made read-only to homebrew somehow, since only some (e.g. Sphaira) have the means to prevent accidents like this.

As for a quick hack, I found that using Sphaira as the sole homebrew launcher and using its "hide" homebrew option to hide NROs that are risky to run, then making a forwarder in emuMMC/offline install should be a decent way to prevent accidents.

Nintendo so far only looked at the ticket list of games installed on your Switch.
Pirated games are also have tickets, but the signature of the ticket is incorrect.

Problem with the sysMMC is that if you go into the sysMMC with a CFW and then install a pirated game, the ticket for that game will also be on the sysMMC OFW because they both share the same MMC.
When using the sysMMC only with legal purchases and not going online with the emuMMC with pirated games, you should be safe. You can even add something like DNS90 to block all access to Nintendo servers on your emummc, just in case.

Some online games were checking if you were cheating with altered save games and banning you for it.
Don't know if that is still the case.

Homebrew apps or anything on your SD card don't cause any bans afaik.

What you can do in Hekate is to remove the sysMMC CFW option to prevent any accidents.

I ran a twitch plays switch channel for 2 years that was online with SXOS(was the only option at the time) the whole 2 years. Even played fortnite. I used it for backing up saves daily. The system was never banned

Thanks, but I'm aware of the primers. The problem is that, while I am aware of what things risk a ban, I want to prevent myself from causing it by means of wrong handling of the applications.

Again, to give the same example, Tico prompts to install a forwarder, and imagine it was me doing it half-awake at 2 AM on sysMMC CFW. There's a non-zero possibility I would have hit "yes" due to not fully processing what's on the screen...

Simple. Don't enable/use sigpatches on sysmmc. This is partly why these options exist.
